General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Preamble
These General Terms govern the relationship between Tunisian Campers (hereinafter the “Company”) and the Client, as well as participants designated by the Client.
They apply to the organization of:
- Expeditions in Tunisia and abroad,
- Stays of a sporting or recreational nature,
- Team-building activities,
- And any other event supervised by guides or facilitators designated by Tunisian Campers.
These terms cover all services offered, whether discovery experiences, sports activities, or any ancillary service provided by the Company.

Contractual Structure
The contractual set (the “Contract”) consists of:
- These General Terms and Conditions of Sale,
- Le The agreement that led to the performance of any service ordered from Tunisian Campers,
- Documents relating to the services mentioned, such as descriptions, quotations, or specific appendices.
Any booking by the Client entails:
- Unreserved acceptance of these General Terms by the Client,
- Full adherence by participants designated by the Client, whether:
- Participants having a direct contractual link with the Client, or
- Participants taking part at the Client’s request or on the Client’s behalf.
By booking, the Client undertakes to communicate these terms to the relevant participants and ensure their acceptance.
Article 1: Pre-Contractual Duty to Inform
Before entering into the Contract, the Client acknowledges receipt and review of:
- The detailed content of the services offered,
- The price of the services and payment terms,
- Applicable cancellation conditions,
- Any potential amendments to contractual elements.
The Client must consult the detailed description of outings, activities, or events organized by Tunisian Campers.
Last-Minute Changes
Given the nature of the activities, last-minute adjustments or changes may occur due to:
- Unforeseen weather conditions,
- Logistical or operational constraints.
Where possible:
- Tunisian Campers will justify such adjustments,
- The Client will be informed before the initially scheduled service date.
Article 2: Administrative and Health Formalities
- Documents Required by Tunisian Campers
The Client undertakes—and ensures, where applicable, that its staff or designated participants undertake—to complete all documents required by Tunisian Campers for the booked service, which may include (without limitation):
- Data relating to physical condition and health,
- Blood group,
- Existing pathologies,
- Medical certificate, if requested.
Non-compliance may lead to cancellation without refund.
- General Formalities
The Client is responsible for completing and bearing the costs of required formalities, including:
- Valid passport or ID card,
- Visa, where applicable,
- Mandatory vaccinations,
- Medical certificate and other required health documents.
If these formalities are not fulfilled, Tunisian Campers will bear no responsibility and no refund will be issued.
- Information for Foreign Nationals
Information provided by Tunisian Campers applies to Tunisian nationals only. Foreign participants must:
- Contact relevant embassies/consulates for requirements specific to their situation,
- Fully assume their administrative and health obligations to participate.
Article 3: Registration & Changes
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation between 1 month and 2 weeks before the event: 75% refund (25% retained).
Cancellation between 2 weeks and 48 hours before the event: 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 48 hours before the event: no refund.
No refund will be granted in case of late arrival or early departure.
2Cancellation by Tunisian Campers
In the event of cancellation on our part (weather, force majeure, etc.), you will be offered a credit note valid for six months.
If we cancel (weather, force majeure…), a credit note valid for 6 months will be offered.
- General Modalities
All online payments are received exclusively via Konnect.
Refunds related to online payments are processed exclusively via Konnect.
Cash payments are refunded in cash.
Bank-transfer payments are refunded by bank transfer.
An email confirmation will be sent upon validation of your request.
Credit notes are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

Article 4: Payment Terms
Participation Validation
To confirm participation, payment must be made within the following timeframes:
- Events: at least two days before the event date.
- Private family/group outings: total amount at least one week before the chosen date.

Article 5: Events & Transport
Transport Not Included
Transport is not covered by Tunisian Campers. Participants are responsible for reaching the meeting point and scheduled stages
A city car or private vehicle is required for most movements.
Carpooling
A WhatsApp group for confirmed participants will be created for each event. You may request or offer a seat via carpooling.
Tunisian Campers does not guarantee the availability or organization of this service, which remains participant-initiated.
Article 6: Price Revision
Prices may be revised up to 20 days before departure in case of significant variations in: Transport costs (notably fuel), Taxes or charges, Exchange rates. If the increase exceeds 10%, the Client may refuse and terminate the contract with a full refund.
Article 7: Service Modifications
Right and Need to Modify Services
Tunisian Campers reserves the right—and, where necessary, the duty—to modify the nature of proposed activities to ensure participant safety, logistical feasibility, or experience quality, without any reduction, compensation, or price decrease. Grounds include:
- Unforeseen weather conditions,
- Unforeseen administrative or security restrictions,
- Technical or operational constraints.
Minor adjustments (schedule/route/equipment adaptations) that do not substantially alter the experience will not give rise to compensation.
For substantial modifications (e.g., destination change for stays over 8 days), Tunisian Campers undertakes to:
Inform the Client as soon as possible,
Propose an equivalent alternative or a postponement.
If the Client refuses, they may request termination with a full refund, without fees or penalties.
Transparency Commitment :
Tunisian Campers strives to limit modifications and to communicate them clearly with justification.
Force Majeure & Limitations
Tunisian Campers shall not be held liable for any changes to services or cancellations imposed by circumstances of force majeure or unforeseen external events. These circumstances include, but are not limited to:
- Extreme weather conditions: storms, floods, heatwaves, or any other climatic phenomenon that makes the activity dangerous or impossible.
- Health crises: epidemics, pandemics, government restrictions on movement, quarantine or any measures imposed by local or international authorities.
- Political or social unrest: strikes, demonstrations, riots, insurrections, armed conflicts or any situation posing a risk to the safety of participants.
- Technical or logistical contingencies: failure of the infrastructure necessary for the provision of services (accommodation, transport, equipment).
- Other cases of force majeure recognised by Tunisian law: including any unforeseeable, unavoidable event beyond the Company's control.
Consequences for Customers:
- Changes to benefits :
- In the event of force majeure, Tunisian Campers undertakes to offer equivalent alternatives (change of itinerary, adaptation of activities, postponement of the service).
- If no alternative is possible, the Customer may request a partial refund or a credit note valid for a future stay, depending on the costs already incurred by the Company.
- Cancellation of the event :
- If the event must be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, Tunisian Campers cannot be held liable for any losses incurred by the Customer (personal expenses, additional costs).
- Any sums already paid will be refunded, less any irreversible costs incurred by the Company.
Limits of liability
- Tunisian Campers' liability is strictly limited to the service provided as agreed with the customer.
- The Company shall not be liable for any indirect losses or damages, such as loss of use or income, resulting from the cancellation or modification of an event.
- In the event of exceptional circumstances, the Customer is encouraged to take out insurance covering such situations (cancellation, interruption of stay, repatriation).
Communication commitment
In case of force majeure, Tunisian Campers will promptly inform the Client, prioritizing participant safety and service continuity where possible.
ARTICLE 8: INTERRUPTION & FAILURE TO APPEAR
No refunds will be given in the following cases:
Voluntary interruption of the stay by the Customer or participants:
If the Customer or participants decide to interrupt their stay or activity before the end, for whatever reason, no refund requests will be accepted.
Unused services, whether planned or unplanned, shall not give rise to any compensation.
Failure to show up for departure:
If the Customer or participants do not arrive at the agreed time and place for the start of the activity or holiday, they will be deemed to have cancelled their booking.
No refunds or postponements will be granted, and services will be cancelled without compensation.
Delay without prior notice:
In the event of a delay without prior notice accepted by Tunisian Campers, participation in the activity or holiday may be refused, without refund or compensation.
Customer Responsibility
The Customer is required to adhere to the times and locations communicated for departure and intermediate stages of the trip. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that they are able to participate in all of the services booked.
ARTICLE 9: INSURANCE
- Personal insurance obligation
The Customer is required to take out personal insurance in the following cases:
- If he wishes to be exempted from the insurance offered by Tunisian Campers,
- If Tunisian Campers does not offer insurance as part of the event or holiday booked.
The Customer must provide valid insurance cover for the risks associated with their participation before the start of the activity or stay.
- Repatriation Assistance Insurance
To participate in trips organised outside Tunisia, or for any foreign national participating in a trip, it is mandatory to take out repatriation assistance insurance covering:
- Repatriation costs in the event of an accident or medical emergency,
- Expenses related to any emergency medical treatment.
If Tunisian Campers does not offer this insurance, the participant must provide proof of such coverage before the departure date.
- Optional insurance offered by Tunisian Campers
Tunisian Campers can offer optional insurance such as:
- Cancellation insurance,
- Assistance insurance.
All insurance policies taken out through Tunisian Campers are subject to their own terms and conditions. Insurance premiums, whether compulsory or optional, are non-refundable, including in the event of cancellation of the trip.
- Penalties for non-compliance In the absence of proof of insurance that meets the requirements, Tunisian Campers reserves the right to:
- Refusing the participation of the Client or designated participants,
- Cancel the booking without refund
ARTICLE 10: RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility of Tunisian Campers:
Disclaimer Tunisian Campers cannot be held liable in the following cases:
- In the event of force majeure (extreme weather, health crisis, political unrest, etc.),
- In the event of poor performance due to the Customer or third parties,
- In the event of false statements or omissions concerning the state of health of the Customer or participants.
This clause applies to all services offered by Tunisian Campers, whether they are discovery trips, activities involving physical effort (hiking, trekking, desert exploration, climbing peaks over 300 metres above sea level), or specific activities such as:
- Lifting loads,
- Archery,
- Boating, diving, kayaking, swimming, snorkelling,
- First aid.
Health certificate In order to participate in these activities, Tunisian Campers reserves the right to request a health certificate for each participant. This certificate must include:
- Any allergies,
- Blood type,
- Relevant medical history.
Under no circumstances can Tunisian Campers be held liable for the consequences of a participant's inability to take part in any activity, regardless of the service provided or the service contract.
Responsibility in team building activities
During team-building events organised on behalf of a Client
- Tunisian Campers accepts no responsibility for the physical or mental fitness of participants to take part in the activity. This responsibility lies with the Customer who drew up the list of participants.
- Any last-minute changes will be communicated to the Customer, without Tunisian Campers being held liable.
Health data management In the event of an accident, Tunisian Campers undertakes to transmit the health data collected to the competent health authorities with the prior consent of the participant and the Customer. This data may include, among other things:
- Allergies,
- Blood type,
- Known medical history.
First aid: Tunisian Campers undertakes to provide all necessary first aid in the event of an emergency. However:
- The Company does not guarantee that such care complies with the most recent medical protocols.
- Tunisian Campers is not obliged to provide a licensed medical professional to provide such care, unless otherwise specified in the contract.
General limitation of medical liability For all services offered, Tunisian Campers declines all liability in the event of an accident or medical incident.
Customer Responsibility:
The Customer is fully responsible for their behaviour and actions, in particular:
- Dangerous behaviour or failure to follow instructions
- Any behaviour that is dangerous or exceeds the rules established by Tunisian Campers or its service providers.
- Degradation
- Any damage caused to movable or immovable property belonging to Tunisian Campers, or present at the place of service provision.
- Compliance with local laws
The Customer is required to comply with:
- Local laws and regulations, including rules concerning biodiversity, wildlife, campfire regulations, and tort liability.
- National or foreign laws (customary, federal or local) in force in the country or region where the service is provided.
Consequences of violations
Any violation entails sole responsibility, including:
- Criminal penalties,
- Civil liability.
Article 11: Claims
Claims must be submitted in writing, by registered letter, within 72 hours after return from the stay.
Article 12: Image Rights
Use of Photographs and Videos
The Client expressly authorizes Tunisian Campers to capture, use, and disseminate photos and videos:
- During stays, activities, events, or services organized by Tunisian Campers in which the Client personally participates,
- In corporate events organized on the Client’s behalf, involving its employees or participants.
This content may be used exclusively for promotional and communication purposes by Tunisian Campers. Tunisian Campers.
Customers who decide not to participate must inform Tunisian Campers in writing before the activity begins.
Media Channels
Authorization includes dissemination across all current and future media, notably:
- Official websites of Tunisian Campers,
- Social networks (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and similar),
- Digital promotional media (online ads, newsletters, email campaigns),
- Physical media (brochures, posters, flyers, catalogs, roll-ups),
- Audiovisual media (promotional films, commercials).
Territory & Duration
- Worldwide dissemination without geographic restriction,
- Unlimited duration : It is granted for an indefinite period, unless it is cancelled in writing by sending a letter to Tunisian Campers.
Terms of use
- Free of charge: no royalties, compensation, or payment may be claimed by the Client or participants,
- Respectful use of image: without compromising integrity or dignity.
Right to Edit Content
Tunisian Campers may make necessary edits to photos/videos, including:
- Retouching, cropping, or editing,
- Adding text, logos, or visual effects,
- Integration into multimedia or audiovisual works.
Revocation
The Client may revoke authorization at any time by sending a written request with ID documents to Tunisian Campers. This revocation:
- Will not apply retroactively to content already published,
- Will be implemented within a reasonable time after receipt.
Third-Party Responsibility
Once content is published on public platforms, Tunisian Campers cannot be held responsible for third-party actions such as:
- Social-media shares,
- Screenshots,
- Any unauthorized reproduction by third parties.
Article 13: Assumption of Risks & Release
The Client expressly acknowledges that participation in activities, stays, or services offered by Tunisian Campers entails inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Physical risks: falls, injuries, sprains, fractures, or other incidents related to physical effort,
- Environmental risks: unpredictable weather (rain, wind, extreme heat), rugged or slippery terrain, wildlife and flora,
- Activity-specific risks: hiking, climbing, trekking, water activities (kayak, diving, snorkeling), sports (archery, weight lifting).
Acceptance of Risks
By registering and participating, the Client:
- Voluntarily and fully accepts the identified risks, whether direct or indirect,
- Irrevocably waives any claim, lawsuit or compensation from Tunisian Campers for:
- Bodily injury, injuries, or accidents during activities,
- Property damage, loss, or deterioration of personal belongings.
Client’s Personal Responsibility
The Customer undertakes to:
- Strictly comply with the safety instructions provided by Tunisian Campers or its representatives
- Be attentive to their own safety and that of other participants,
- Inform the Company of any health problem or physical limitation that may affect participation.
Limits of Tunisian Campers’ Liability
Tunisian Campers cannot be held liable for:
- Any negligence by the Client or failure to follow safety instructions,
- Any physical or medical unfitness not declared before the start of the activity,
- Any injury or damage resulting from unforeseeable circumstances inherent to the nature of the activities.
Article 14: Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Tunisian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts where the registered office of Tunisian Campers is located.
